DarkBus website: three directions
Each one is the whole site and the Investigator app together, so there's nothing separate to log into. Click around like a visitor would. They all work on phones too. On a computer, use Phone view to see the mobile version. The content is sample content and the photos are placeholders.
Night Shift
A: Night Shift
Streaming first. The live, or a countdown to the next one, is the first thing you see, like a channel page. Dark, with toxic green and a punchy, cinematic feel.
Lantern Road
B: Lantern Road
The journey first. The bus's route, past stops and booked ones, tells the story. Warm lantern amber and the logo's serif lettering, like a travel journal.
NIGHT VISION
C: Night Vision
The footage first. The whole site looks through a camcorder viewfinder: REC light, timecode, night-vision green. The most playful of the three.
Things to try in each one
- Open Mockup controls (bottom right) to switch between "a live is happening" and "no live right now".
- Click into the live, an adventure, or the evidence locker while signed out to see the "join first" screen, then go through creating an account.
- Once you're signed in, the same pages open up: rewinding the live, clipping moments, and the evidence locker.
- Fill in Suggest a location: it's a shorter form than the one on the current site.
